Tyler Suiters, Consumer Technology Association Senior Director of Communications
Tyler Suiters brought his 20 years of broadcast communication and media experience to the Consumer Technology Association in 2013.
At CTA, Tyler leads strategic communications for the trade association representing more than 2,200 companies in the U.S. consumer technology industry. His team also delivers communications support for the association’s policy, industry and thought leadership efforts at CES – the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies – which is owned and produced by CTA.
Tyler previously served as Vice President for International Affairs at Edelman Worldwide, where he worked with global organizations such as Experian North America, The Panama Canal Authority and Syngenta Corporation. During that time he also lived in Abu Dhabi, providing strategic communications support to the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier in his career, Tyler served as a television news correspondent covering the international energy sector – his assignments took him to countries such as China, Iceland, Israel and South Africa. More recently, Tyler worked as a freelance political correspondent for CBS Newspath in Washington, DC.
Tyler has led and participated in forums for groups including the UN Foundation, Nissan Motors, the Sierra Club and Al Jazeera. He has also been a lecturer on strategic communications issues at universities, events and associations across the country.
