Matt Bechtel – Lockheed Martin Senior Manager, Digital Marketing
Matt Bechtel is a proven marketing veteran with 20-years of leadership success across business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) industries. He is adept in current marketing trends including marketing technology, sales and marketing alignment, demand generation and content marketing using the PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned) model.
Matt is currently the senior manager of digital marketing at Lockheed Martin responsible for the corporation’s global branding on web, social and mobile. The team he leads operates lockheedmartin.com as well the corporation’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Matt was the digital marketing manager at Xerox State & Local Government where he launched thought leadership and demand generation programs using marketing automation. His other experience includes sales and business development activities for the Associated Press, CBS Radio and PR Newswire.
Matt earned a Master of Science in marketing from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Clemson University in 1997.
