Mark DeVito is a three-time Emmy Award-winning brand strategist and creative director who, for over 20 years, has led creative campaigns and strategic content for Fortune 100 corporations, startups, domestic and international political figures, broadcast television networks, and social awareness programs.
Today, Mark is the President of Beyond Definition, a brand and marketing agency that pushes boundaries for clients on a mission to positively change the world.His strategic oversight and ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients has led to many award-winning campaigns, most recently landing Beyond Definition on the Inc. 5000 list.
Since joining the agency, Mark has been heavily involved in successful brand and marketing projects for the National Association of Corporate Directors, Transurban, the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, CREW Network, and the ALS Association, among others.
Previously, Mark founded and led The Gigawatt Group, a CSR-focused brand experience agency that crafted sustainable campaigns for national and global brands. Under Mark’s leadership, The Gigawatt Group grew 300% in under four years, producing global strategic and creative content.
In addition, Mark served as the Sr. Creative Director at Proof Integrated Communications in Washington D.C., Creative Director of Autumn Productions, and produced strategic content and messaging for John Kerry’s Presidential race, alongside media campaigns for Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Claire McCaskill.
Mark has also been a professor at San Francisco State University, American University, and Towson State University, teaching graduate and undergraduate classes.
