Kristin Palmer, AARP Vice President, Media Relations
As a communications professional with nearly 15 years of experience, Kristin Palmer leads public relations for AARP, an advocacy organization with nearly 38 million members.
Since 2012, Kristin has led earned media campaigns for AARP’s consumer-facing products and initiatives, brand campaigns, multicultural engagement and media properties, including AARP The Magazine.
Prior to AARP, Kristin was the Director of Public Affairs for Child Care Aware of America® and served as Senior Communications Manager for Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin. Previously, she managed communications for the National Association of Black Journalists and the Association of Public Television Stations. Kristin began her career at Brodeur Partners, a global communications firm.
