Donna Spurrier, Spurrier Group

Donna Spurrier is an innovator and expert media strategist. For 30 years, she has inspired new ways of thinking about performance-based media campaigns and consumer engagement while working with clients and agency partners in the commercial, non-profit and government sectors. For example, Donna worked with the Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation on the Commonwealth of Virginia’s first-ever nontraditional anti-smoking campaign targeting millennials. She also helped the Virginia Tourism Corporation become one of the first CVB’s to use online advertising. She has also helped several government agencies ensure their campaigns are reaching the right audiences with the right media channels for maximum ROI. More recently, Donna has formulated media strategies for large public relations agencies as well as several high-profile advocacy groups such as Compassion & Choices, Healthy Babies Bright Futures, and Goodwill Industries. In her spare time, Donna guest lectures at the renowned VCU Brandcenter and volunteers her time with FeedMore, Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization.
