Dan Sweet, RP3 Director of Public Relations
Dan Sweet joined RP3 this year to lead its new public relations practice as its first Director of Public Relations. In addition to supporting the agency’s award-winning advertising and digital services, this newly created division allows Sweet to provide RP3 clients with a complete host of public relations services including earned media, crisis communications and issue advocacy capabilities.
Sweet has spent over 15 years providing strategic communications counsel and executing successful media relations campaigns for a variety of major corporate brands and advocacy clients where he specializes in developing creative and effective earned media, crisis and healthcare communication programs. Before joining RP3, Dan was a Senior Vice President at FleishmanHillard specializing in healthcare, issue advocacy and crisis communications.
Previously, Sweet worked at JPA Health Communications and Powell Tate in Washington, DC. He got his professional start developing research and messaging strategy for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee as well as statewide political campaigns across the country. Sweet earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland at College Park.
