Being able to conduct research for my clients over the years has allowed them to take the guessing out of their strategies and know they are not just throwing darts at a wall; they are following proven methodologies that foster success. I love my job as Director of Research at Finn Partners because it allows me and my team to not work for just one client on one specific issue/subject. We work for clients from all over the world within every type of industry on numerous subject matters. This keeps things fresh and our team motivated to learn something new every day – many times something our clients did not know about themselves, their industry or issues most important to them.

Biography

Chris is a “sell and do” research professional with over 17 years of experience winning and growing business through relationship marketing, high level client service and research-based strategic insights. His areas of expertise include: large multinational projects, communication strategies, branding and reputation management, advertising and copy testing, advertising campaign effectiveness, program evaluation and tracking, new product development and testing, sports, tourism and employee communications research.

In his role as Director of Research at Finn Partners, Lawrence works on an integrated, firm-wide basis with each practice group to deliver meaningful research findings and insights, as well as actionable strategic and communications recommendations. Chris is responsible for growing and enhancing the agency’s research practice and playing a key role in leading business and communications strategies on a global basis.

Chris has conducted and managed research for a wide variety of clients across numerous industries: Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, Mexico City Tourism, The Smithsonian Institute, The National September 11th Memorial and Museum, Microsoft, Bank of America, Coca-Cola, Dow Chemical, Hershey Foods, Kraft, Northrop Grumman, Cigna, McCann Worldgroup, Auburn University, Baylor University, The Colombian Coffee Federation, The United States Golf Association, NASCAR, Major League Baseball, and the PGA Tour.

Lawrence has a B.S. Degree in Political Science from Ball State University and he obtained a Graduate Certificate for Survey Design and Data Analysis from George Washington University. He lives with his wife, Michelle and two children in Alexandria, VA.
